Surge in Oil Prices and Drop in Bitcoin Value in the Last 24 Hours
In the last 24 hours, energy prices have risen, and concerns over financing costs have increased. The threat to shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz and Ukraine's attacks on Russian refineries have pushed oil prices to $109.9, reflecting a 3.72% increase. In contrast, the price of Bitcoin fell to $81,452, a decrease of 0.89%. Additionally, gold rose by 0.4% to $4,165 due to a weakening dollar and increased demand for safe-haven assets. Despite higher-than-expected inflation data in the U.S., traders still consider the possibility of interest rates being held steady at the Federal Reserve's October meeting. In the bond market, increased demand for government debt has reduced inflationary pressure on yields, with the ten-year yield reaching 5.09%. The state of oil supply and its impact on inflation will play a significant role in the Federal Reserve's decisions and market movements.
