Arkham Launches Paywall, ARKM Token Rises 8%

Arkham Enterprise implemented a paywall on October 20, limiting free users to viewing only 100 recent transactions per address. The Arkham (ARKM) token increased nearly 8% despite the backlash. The Enterprise subscription costs 1500 dollars per month after a free trial for approved users. Key features such as Tracer 2.0 and custom labels are now exclusive to paid accounts, while free users retain access to Arkham's labels and the Visualizer 2.0 transaction graph. The changes have drawn criticism, with Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik mocking the pricing and users expressing concerns that the paywall could enable bad actors to evade scrutiny. Trading data shows ARKM rose from approximately 0.119 dollars to 0.128 dollars within hours, with 24-hour trading volume increasing from about 6.6 million dollars to nearly 11 million dollars, a rise of roughly 65%. As of the latest update, ARKM trades at 0.1276 dollars.
