Multiliquid Raises $8 Million in Funding, Led by Polychain in Seed Round
Multiliquid's developer, Uniform Labs, has raised a total of $8 million through Pre-Seed and Seed rounds, with the latest Seed round led by Polychain. Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures, and Circle Ventures also participated, although the amounts raised and valuations have not been disclosed. Multiliquid is now live on Ethereum and Solana, allowing institutions to complete bi-directional exchanges between tokenized assets and stablecoins in a single atomic transaction, with simultaneous settlement. The platform targets asset issuers, institutional treasuries, DeFi lending protocols, and market makers for reserve rebalancing, margin management, and yield strategy adjustments. The platform operates in a non-custodial mode, executing transfer restrictions, identity verification, and compliance rules set by issuers at the settlement layer, and has begun processing initial pilot transactions. The funding will be used to expand the protocol engineering team, increase liquidity, and onboard trading platform partners, as well as integrate more tokenized cash and government bond products on EVM networks and Solana. The company stated that there are currently no plans to issue tokens.
