BounceBit Launches Borobudur Credit Layer
BounceBit has officially launched the Borobudur credit layer. Users can generate profits from this position and receive interest-free credit in the form of BBV tokens. This structure integrates cryptocurrency-based strategic positions with tokenized money market fund assets into a single credit framework. The core of Borobudur is to utilize income-generating assets not just as simple holdings but as means of credit access. BENJI is linked to Franklin Templeton's tokenized money market fund, combining traditional financial cash asset management structures with blockchain-based recording and transfer systems. This structure can be seen as a case of integrating RWA and DeFi functionalities into a single credit framework. Borobudur is evaluated as a case of utilizing these tokenized cash assets within a credit structure. However, the actual usage conditions, collateral ratios, and liquidation methods for Borobudur should be confirmed in a separate announcement.
